1. Based on what you have learned about extreme poverty, do you think St. Francis suffered extreme poverty? Did he want others to suffer extreme poverty?
2. Who were the most vulnerable to the effects of poverty in the time of Jesus, Francis and now?
3. If the Franciscan goes from Gospel to life and life to the Gospel, what are we called to do about extreme poverty? (Consider the Franciscan International Recommendations).
4. How does Br. Abada's reflection on the radical respect that God has towards the individual influence our understanding of extreme poverty as a violation of human rights?
